This policy starts from the WordPress notice that took effect on 1 March 2024. The legal name on that page was HillStrong Security. The published entity is Hillstrong Group Security, Atlanta, GA.
Who we are
Hillstrong Group Security operates this marketing site. Contact: info@hillstrongsecurity.com, +1 (844) 445-5477, Atlanta, GA. We do not publish a DPO, an EU representative, or a UK representative on this page.
Information we collect
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your name and email address.
When you request a demo, we collect first name, last name, work email, and an optional note. Phone is not required. The demo page is the request path.
When you book a meeting, Microsoft Bookings collects the details you submit to schedule that meeting.
When you visit the site, we may collect IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. The WordPress notice called this non-personal. Under GDPR an IP address is personal data, so we treat it as such.
How we use this information
- Send the newsletter and other mail you asked for.
- Answer questions and demo requests.
- Improve the site and keep it working.
- Review traffic patterns and protect the site.
We do not list a lawful basis for each purpose. Counsel has to set those. See the gap list below.
Who we share with
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information except as follows.
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is on the layout as an analytics beacon.
- HubSpot (portal 49160317) runs the demo and newsletter forms.
- Microsoft Bookings runs meeting scheduling on the demo path.
- We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
GitHub holds the public source repo. It is not a visitor processor. We do not list Google Analytics or LinkedIn Insight. Those scripts are not shipped.
We do not sell personal information
Hillstrong Group Security does not sell personal information. See Do not sell or share.
Our policy is to honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) through the consent manager as an opt-out of sale or share and of marketing cookies. The manager itself is a separate change. Until it ships, email info@hillstrongsecurity.com to object.
Cookies
The site may set cookies so the browser can be recognized and some information remembered. Read the cookie notice for processors we know. A name-by-name table waits on a staging scan.
Your rights and how to ask
You may request access, deletion, correction, or portability of personal information we hold. You may opt out of marketing mail.
Email info@hillstrongsecurity.com. We aim to meet one month under GDPR and 45 days under CCPA. Those are targets we aim to meet, not a promise that every file is already in a DSR runbook.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We do not name a lead authority. Counsel has not appointed EU or UK representatives.
How long we keep data
We have not published retention periods. That is a gap for counsel.
International transfers
Processors above may handle data in the United States. We do not claim the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses, the UK IDTA, or a transfer impact assessment on this page.
Children and other markets
This site is for plant-operator buyers. We do not direct it at children.
We do not currently offer the site to China, India, Japan, or Australia as a directed service.
Links to other sites
We may link to third-party sites. Those sites have their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
We may update this notice. The revised text will appear on this page with a date at the top of the live version after counsel ratifies it.
